WiFi Direct finally main stream?

Google Added WiFi direct to KitKat settings.

And it works great, I managed to transfer files between my N7 2012 and my N5 with much greater speeds, then the regular Wireless LAN speeds.

I just needed to install a small app, called WiFi Direct +, that can be used to transfer files from devices that support WiFi Direct.
